I finally watched the finale...

screams of shock = two huge ones that had my nephew running downstairs to check I was ok

Just watched the last episode of this season. Very difficult to discuss it without giving away any spoilers. I will say that one thing about the cinematography of this show that struck me was the very shallow depth of field that was utilized; the director pointing you towards exactly what they wanted you to see and obscuring the rest.

Like Elv, can't wait for season three. I hope and cross all fingers and toes that this show gets the ratings in the US to allow the creators to see this through to the end.

Yes, the slices were very sad. And I agree about Hugh, he deserves one too. Their "dance" is what makes it, in my opinion, the most intellectually stimulating show on air right now. It's really brilliant stuff, but neither one of them would be quite as brilliant without the other.

I have to watch the finale, I have it all ready just awaiting time.

You would think it deserved a horror category for the gore, which is truly awful yet it is somehow clinical and that reduces the impact - or maybe I am just jaded. The true horror is the dance going on between Will and Hannibal as they skirt around the edge of evidence and Will dips closer and closer to becoming the horned man.

He (Hugh) deserves an Emmy but only if Peter Dinklage fails to win...

No spoiler so carefully worded, but episode 5, the slices made me cry, not hysterical but truly sad slow tears.

Maybe not quite "horror" but seemed the most appropriate place to put this. Anyone else watch it? No spoilers but the season 2 finale.... WOW. Grrrr.... where is season 3 already!!!

PS - Emmy to Mads ftfw. Maybe the best actor on TV right now.
