Not to mention that remakes are one of my pet peeves regarding movies. Rarely EVER does a remake trump an original. Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Sucked. Nightmare on Elm Street? Sucked. There's just too many people remaking movie just for the sake of remaking them, it's like Lucasism on crack!
Some movies just simple do not need remakes. Horror movies are usually in that category.
Both The Stand and IT being remade are largely unnecessary and sure to be, well, somewhat diminished from the originals. Some of those actors are just too immortalized in their roles; Tim Curry, Gary Sinise, Rob Lowe.
Matthew McConoghy as Randall Flagg?? I'm just not sure I'm feelin' that one. Although RF WAS missing his shirt at the end of the book... Statistics: Posted by zhammy — Mon Jun 22, 2015 2:54 pm
