Not as widespread as GoT but with a compelling main character and story. I picked up NotW at a book swap, best swap I ever made

This series is so amazing. Rothfuss is a fantastic writer. ASoIaF was my favorite series for a while until I picked up NotW, easily surpasses Martin's ability, at least imo.

I really can't get over how in depth and well thought out the magic system is in this book. Rothfuss does a great job explaining it too so that the reader can understand exactly what's going on and either laugh at how simple yet effective it is or be impressed by how intricate and clever something is. I recommend this to anyone who says "know any good fantasy novels?"
