I tried watching it, but the way they completely butcher Colonial history... just... ugh.
I know it's supposed to be an "alternate history" thing... but it's just too much. Having people at Roanoke speaking Middle English killed it for me.

I guess this falls somewhere between fantasy and horror. Season premiere was on the other night. For those that haven't seen it yet be prepared to be confused for the first 10 or 15 minutes. Things will clear up after that. Still like the show though there is still one thing I haven't figured out. When does Crane find time to clean his clothes? He seems to only have that one outfit and it never seems to get dirty. |
