I read this book by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan when it first came out, then the second in the trilogy (just got the third part) it was a very clever story and is coming to the small screen. No sparkly vamps, nor benign southern ones but hard core 'farm the humans' mean. Can't wait

Jury out currently, it wasn't dreadful but neither was it awesome. It was only the pilot and I read a few reviews of people who loved it so guess I can wait and see. On the subject of vampires, it was better than True Blood though

Well *wipes off dust* I have very dusty hands from a lot of these threads Show some life people.Season 1 was awesome and season 2 is shaping up along the same lines. They have diverged quite a lot from the books but I am seriously enjoying it. Those children..... no punches pulled there. And oh she is welcome to Zach |
