Who the heck are you, and why are you sniffing my socks?
I'm Elvamir, leader of this community and one of two administrators for NetWoC and World of Caenyr (the other is the Shiniest of the Shiny, Lady Laurel. Say hi!) I'm your best friend or your worst enemy (or both?) You decide. Most friends here call me Elv for short, but those who know me best... call me Big Bad. Oh, and here's your socks back. Sorry about that...

What is World of Caenyr and do I need to play there to be a part of this community?
World of Caenyr is an online persistent world on the classic, but still unequaled, Neverwinter Nights gaming platform. We have been a gaming world and community for well over a decade. Our lore is being expanded into a series of novels I'm in the (long) process of writing, and our community has been expanded to this lovely site here. If you're interested in becoming a player at WoC, you can find everything for that platform over at www.worldofcaenyr.com. We'd be happy to have you join us. BUT, you certainly don't have to be a Caenyrite to be a NetWoCer. Anyone with an interest in all things sci-fi & fantasy are welcome here!

What are the rules for being a NetWoCer?
Here at NetWoC we have only one rule: Be kind to others. This is a friendly community, not a gladiatorial arena. Failure to treat others with respect could lead to banning. That includes any material inappropriate for minors. Ages 13 and up are welcome here, so keep it clean. We do have a private "Mature" creative writing forum for adults 18 and up. Contact Laurel to verify your age and get access.
