All things musical, let's see what we love to listen to. Who is hot and who is not. What that tune is that got into your head just as you got out of the car this morning. Best singer debate, top guitarist discussion and those little known bands/singers that we just cannot live without.

Pretty simple; last live music you saw and a bit of a short review.

Living in one of the most isolated capital cities on earth I'm always a bit jealous of the opportunities others get, even in my own country.

Last thing I went to was the NIN/QOTSA tour. I was honestly surprised by how much Queens blew NIN off the stage. I heard they flipped a coin as to who went on first each night.

Never been to one. *shrug*

Never saw the point to spend in excess of $100 per ticket just to hear music I can play on my CD. :P

My last gig was NiN also, I can't recall the support, they were ok but no-one famous.

I love, love loved the show, the sound, the lighting the effects were great. Reznor was dour but I didn't go to listen to him talk but to listen to the music.

Was hard to recall what the last gig was, thought I had been this year but was November. However next month am seeing Queen!!!

No sarcasm but that is your loss, seeing the band live, being part of the crowd is worth the money. I have seen Bon Jovi 3 times and would eagerly pay the $100+ to see them again. However such discussion should be in another thread should you wish to continue it ;)

Yeah, no. :) To each their own, but I really dislike crowds. I know others really enjoy them... concerts just aren't for me.

I'll leave it at that. :)

The Casual Exchange at The Bunganut Pig. Cover band at a local watering hole. They were really good, and did a nice mix of songs for the crowd. Had a fun time watching their lead guitarist play slide guitar with a beer bottle.

Last gig was a long time! I think was Bad Religion and Dropkick Murphys, with some openers. at the PNE...seemed like you were either there for one or the other, if you had a mohawk safe to say was Murphys inclined(or wearing a kilt)..I went to see BR...Greg has a bad voice live somehow, but it was decent..I missed Strung Out recently but got their last album

Zac Brown Band. Great stage presence. Was really fun to have see them bring out Jewel and Kid Rock. Good covers of Let It Be and Bohemian Rhapsody.
