Meh. Wasn't too impressed overall. Really didn't care for the way they did Shredder or Donatello. Hated all the gear they put on him. Looked stupid. Hated the banter between the turtles. Megan Fox was actually okay for a change. Don't know why I'm giving it a C+ and not something lower.

I saw the preview for this with GOTG, not that impressed. Your review confirms that initial impression and I might hold off on seeing this one.

Same here... too afraid to be really disappointed. Guess I'll just download it.

I haven't seen the new one. I watched the first movie when I was like 10 years old or something, but I never watched anything after that.

I was a big fan of the original comics, the ones actually written by Eastman and Laird. Those were hilarious! The whole storyline of the Fannywhacker and Supperman (yes, there are two "p's" in there) was great!

The ones that are OTT violent and most definitely not for kids?

I saw this one a bit ago in reviewing it for my kids to watch. Yeah, wasn't terribly impressed. The turtles also touched a bit of uncanny valley with their faces. Just... Gah.

This here covers a lot of what I think:
